Today, @KamalaHarris became the first woman of color ever sworn in as vice president of the United States.

To celebrate this moment, twelve young women discussing what it means to them to see a Black woman of Indian descent elected to the second-highest office in the land. “Every little girl sees that this is a country of possibility,” @KamalaHarris states in one address, and that sentiment is widely echoed. “She reminds me every day that I am capable and worthy of my wildest dreams,” says one participant.
