The start of a new year provides a chance for intention setting. And for many that includes a renewed focus on health and fitness. However, by the third week of January the majority of New Year's Resolutions begin to run off course.
To help you remain committed to your goals, we asked Bamford fitness trainer James Golden to share his tips for staying motivated...
1. Make a plan: "Setting a realistic plan will ensure you're able to stick to your resolutions," James advises. "This doesn't need to be anything complicated; simply identify which days you will exercise, and how long for."
2. Set small goals: "Setting small and attainable goals will help you stay motivated. Take things easy when you're starting out and build momentum with a simple, foundational approach."
3. Find what works for you: "Virtual classes are ideal for those of us who feel restricted by time, work and family obligations," James says. "The flexibility to log-on when it suits your lifestyle means anyone can create a regular fitness routine at home with nothing more than a mat."
Join James Golden for a Virtual Home Workout every weekday at 11.30am. All levels are welcome. Follow the link in our bio to book your next class. @aka_thefitnesspro #bamford #bamfordwellness #fitnesstips
