ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14
2008年の「GEL-KAYANO 14」をデザインベースとしており、当時の「GEL-KAYANO 14」は「GEL-KAYANO」シリーズを初代から手掛けてきた榧野俊一に代わり、山下秀則がはじめて設計したとされる。歴代の優れた機能やデザイン性を引き継ぎながら、山下独自の感性が新たに吹き込まれた。今回は2000年代に見られたデザインテイストを踏襲しながら、ミッドソールに搭載した衝撃緩衝機能を持つ「GEL」テクノロジーなど、当時の「GEL-KAYANO 14」を代表する機能や構造を残した。アッパーの素材とフィット感をタウンユース用にアップデートしており、様々なスタイリングで活躍する仕様に。

Based on the 2008 "GEL-KAYANO 14", the "GEL-KAYANO 14" at that time was designed by Hidenori Yamashita for the first time in place of Shunichi Kashino, who has worked on the "GEL-KAYANO" series from the first generation. Yamashita's unique sensibility was newly imbued while inheriting the excellent functions and design of the past. This time, while following the design taste seen in the 2000s, the functions and structures that represent the "GEL-KAYANO 14" at that time, such as the "GEL" technology that has a shock absorbing function mounted on the midsole, were retained. The material and fit of the upper have been updated for town use.
