So that being said...I want to introduce the @moynihantrainhall ✨ New York brings Penn Station into the 21st Century and it’s fabulous!! Located inside the historic Farley Building that’s transformed into an iconic train hall. Farley Building was the city’s general post office that opened to the public in 1914. The renovation retain the landmarked, Beaux-Arts Farley Building and added a glass roof atrium. The Train Hall is designed to alleviate congestion in Penn Station and is now home to @amtrak and LIRR in NYC. Moynihan Train Hall dramatically expands America’s busiest transit hub. The design of the Train Hall is led by @skidmoreowingsmerrill (SOM). At the end of the video you’ll get a glimpse of one of the stunning art installations. They Officially opened Jan 1, 2021.
