Thank you life, for showing me this.” I was telling my friend that 2020 has been a difficult/lethal year for a lot of us, but there was a breathtaking beauty that came out of it. Twenty minutes later, I went for a swim in the sea. But I got stuck in the intense waves behind the breakwater... I couldn't escape... started to drown... trying to call someone for help... my mouth filled with salty water... water entering my lungs... Feeling crazy helpless... Suddenly, a young kid and his father came to help me and swam me back to the beach. I was in absolute shock. I almost died. I laid down on my towel with my friend. Super pale and shaky, my head on my backpack with my phone constantly vibrating in it. That made me realise it was midnight in Europe. Friends and family were calling and texting to wish me a happy new year. But I couldn't move or respond. I was speechless ... The two guys walked behind me and waved to check if I was okay ... If these two strangers weren't there, I would be dead, and pretty sure my body would be lost somewhere in the sea. You can imagine how grateful I was when the clock struck midnight thinking I might have missed that one. And I will try to remember that I was never at ease in the sea ;) #stubborn」1月2日 14時06分
