The eyes of this species are large and lidless, with cat-like vertical pupils that are well suited for the species’ nocturnal habits. Skin coloration has developed as camouflage, with most geckos being grayish brown or greenish brown—colors that are meant to resemble tree bark, moss, and lichen.
