When I was 13 years old, just before Christmas, my Mother had an Aneurysm in her brain. Since then, she is severely handicapped - wont ever walk or speak again. She is in incredible pain and on the strongest medications - which all has changed her physical appearance a lot. It used to be just the two of us and over night, everything changed. Dealing with this situation is incredibly hard to go through. I miss her so much and yet, I still have her here. Our life wasn’t easy, we moved house a lot and she worked 3 and more different jobs just to keep us afloat. My Mother is my biggest inspiration. I have not shared my private life much, not even with most of my friends, because I am the type of person who deals with their pain in silence. But something has changed this year. I want to be more me. And this is part of it. Even after years of therapy, I get overwhelming flashbacks sometimes. But I pick myself back up and remember that my Mother is a fighter and so am I. ♥️ Rita, meine Liebe Mama, ich vermisse dich.
