$211,827 raised for 10 wonderful rescues!! We all did it! All in just over 24 hours! What a weekend!
You are all truly amazing. We have been so blessed to have made so many friends and memories through Instagram over the years. To connect with so many dog lovers all over the world has been life changing to me. We’ve been on Instagram for seven years now and we’ve loved every minute of sharing our lives with people who love their dogs just as much as we do. But look at what else this incredible group of us has done beyond sharing photos, laughs and stories of one another’s dogs? The mutual love we all have for dogs has been able to create something bigger than anything I could ever imagine. It’s brought us all together to truly make something wonderful happen. So much good is going to be done with your donation. Those big and small, we’ve all played a part. Over 4,900 people did this. After a terrible year with so much pain, 4,900 people gave part of their hard earned money away at Christmas time to better the lives of dogs. That number is insane to me.
I want you all to know how grateful we are that we get to be the ones bringing you all together and for you getting behind our cause. It truly fulfils my life to be able to do this, but without you all we’d be doing none of it.
I hope you all go in to Christmas thinking about many extra doggos curled up by the fire because that’s exactly what you’ve just been able to do. Thank you will never be enough. Our rescues never receive huge lump sums like this. They’re lucky to get a $100 here and there. This is life changing stuff. They are going to use that money so well and do so much good. I have one last ask from you all and that is, if you can, please follow these rescues, watch them do the incredible work they do. Support them with encouraging words when ever you can, foster if you can, volunteer if you can. Please go and follow them all today, and thank them directly if you can
