This scene is a popular spot for visitors to southern Utah's sweeping desert vistas. From wildfires to increased visitation, this year has been a challenging one for public lands in the United States. While an uptick in recreation has corresponded to a spike in human-caused environmental damage, Pete McBride @pedromcbride is hopeful that more Americans will become stewards of our public lands as we all realize how important access to the outdoors is.
