防衛大臣政務官として陸上自衛隊 朝霞駐屯地にて行われた『日米共同方面隊指揮所演習』を視察してまいりました。

アメリカ軍幹部も沖縄方面基地から朝霞駐屯地に参加され、アメリカ本土と朝霞駐屯地を結ぶLive中継での作戦指揮が行われました。
秘匿原則に則って詳細は申し上げれませんが、これらの演習により有事の際、日米共同による練度の高い即応性が培われます。
視察の合間を縫って基地施設をお借りし中山泰秀副大臣の名代としてリモートによる政府副大臣会議に陸自ジャケット着用のまま参加をさせていただきました。

これからも防衛省•自衛隊25万人の皆さんとともに国家国民の為、全力で職責を全うしてまいります。

As Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Defense, I have visited the "Japan-US Joint Army Command Center Exercise" held at the Ground Self-Defense Force Asaka station.

U.S. military executives also participated in the Asaka camp from the Okinawa base, and commanded the operation on a live broadcast connecting the continental United States and the Asaka camp.
I cannot give details in accordance with the principle of confidentiality, but these exercises will cultivate a high degree of responsiveness jointly by Japan and the United States in the event of an emergency.
I rented the base facility between the inspections and participated in the remote government deputy ministers' meeting as the name of deputy minister Yasuhide Nakayama while wearing the GSDF jacket.
