菅義偉内閣総理大臣を観閲官として入間基地にお迎えし、岸信夫防衛大臣とともに『令和2年度航空観閲式』に出席して参りました。
到着直後、入間基地にて殉職された32柱の御霊に献花をし心より哀悼の誠を捧げました。

菅義偉総理•岸信夫防衛大臣とともに栄誉礼、儀仗、巡閲、観閲官訓示に続き、部隊視察を行いました。
部屋に飾られる花や掛軸、昼食や箸置きに至るまで入間基地隊員の皆さんの手作りによるもので、心温まるおもてなしを受けました。
24時間365日、いま、この瞬間にも緊張感の中で日本の領土、領海、領空を守ってくださっている自衛隊員の皆さんに心より感謝を申し上げます。

We welcomed Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga as an inspector to Iruma Air Base and attended the "Reiwa 2nd Year Aviation Inspection Ceremony" with Minister of Defense Nobuo Kishi.
Immediately after arriving, I offered flowers to the 32 spirits who were martyred at Iruma Air Base and offered my sincere condolences.

Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga • With Minister of Defense Nobuo Kishi, we conducted a unit inspection following honor guard, honor guard, patrolling, and inspector instructions.
The flowers and hanging scrolls displayed in the room, lunch and chopstick rests were all handmade by the Iruma Air Base members, and we received heartwarming hospitality.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the Self-Defense Forces members who are protecting Japan's territory, territorial waters, and airspace 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, even at this very moment.
