The number of students affected by #COVID19-related school closures soared by 38 per cent last month.

When schools close, children risk missing out on their education, support system, food and safety, with the most vulnerable children paying the heaviest price. UNICEF urges governments to prioritize the reopening of schools and put measures in place to make them as safe as possible.
