“The home has such expansive windows that the greens of nature are on full display everywhere,” says Melanie Hamel of @marieflaniganinteriors. “Incorporating blue and white captured the tones of water and the sky.” When Hamel and her design partner Marie Flanigan were tapped to transform the property, they decided that the outdoor landscape would be key to informing the interior design. In the main bathroom, the hand-molded plaster dogwood branches on the wall above the tub were incorporated as a nod to the client’s upbringing in Connecticut.
