A #giantAnteater roaming across the #Pantanal in search of ants and termites. This incredible animals eat upwards of 30,000 insects a day, a tall order and a full time mission to get the calories it needs. @tjtriage and I were fortunate enough to see 6 during our first leg of the trip here in #Brazil, a pretty extraordinary situation that neither of us anticipated. This mammal is in the sloth family, and if you look closely bears some resemblance. @niarratravel @refugioecologicocaiman @oncafari
