The GL provides water to over 40 million people throughout the basin and a staggering 56 billion gallons of water is used DAILY in municipal, agricultural and industrial activities. Although clean water is among the highest of priorities here, the Great Lakes has been incredibly mismanaged throughout the last 150 years.
