Out of the 4,000 species of frog found around the world, 208 are endemic to Australia, including this little guy, the Corroboree Frog! The Northern and Southern Corroboree Frog are not just some of Australia's most iconic amphibians but they are also some of our most critically endangered. Prior to the devastating bushfire season which impacted Corroboree Frog habitat, this species was already facing severe threats, including a deadly fungus which wiped out the majority of the existing population. No matter how big or how small, we remain committed to securing a shared future for both wildlife and people. Our conservation projects and tireless effort to continue work for both the Southern and Northern Corroboree frog will not end. Since the commencement of our Corroboree Frog program, we have had the honour of releasing hundreds of frogs and thousands of eggs back into the wild. Stay tuned..big things are on the horizon!
