Women demonstrating against the sentence preventing the termination of pregnancies even in case of fatal and irreversible fetal defects such as lack of internal organs that would give no chance of life after birth. I think of all the demonstrations we had in Italy in the 70s for women rights . We didn’t have the right to divorce, to use contraceptive , there were no laws to protect women from abuse and rape and no abortion. Abortion is indeed a difficult moral choise , but all these rights didn’t make Italy “ bad” . On the contrary it made it a better country.
