To fans of interior designer @tomscheerer, this 1920s Manhattan apartment may look familiar: it appears on the cover of his 2013 book, "Tom Scheerer Decorates." But most recently, Scheerer worked with architect @gpschafer to reimagine the floor plan of this family home, creating a space with fewer, more personal rooms. “Emotionally, I just wasn’t ready to leave,” says the homeowner. In the main bedroom sitting room, a @vernerpantonofficial chair for @vitra pulls up to a custom desk, and the Regency bench was reupholstered by @quintanagram.
