Photos by @francescolastrucci / While in Fort Kochi, in the Kerala state of India, I was enchanted by the giant rain trees that line the streets and dot the parks of the colonial town. Looking up, I caught the pattern of the magnificent branches of their symmetrical crowns, large enough to shade the whole street and several houses. The green heritage of Fort Kochi is represented by these enormous trees, regarded as living monuments of the memory of the place.
