「私を変えた旅」と聞いて、即座に思ったのは3ヶ月かけてインドを巡った旅だったのですが、本当にそうかな？と思いを巡らせました… 初めての海外、マウイ島はテレビで見ていたアメリカを感じ、80年代に滞在したイギリスの旧家では限られた水量でシャワーなくお風呂に入る生活に驚き、中期滞在したパリやニューヨークでは憧れてた日常を垣間見れ、2000年に世界一周した時に訪れたヨーロッパや南米の国々では移動するたびに刺激を受け... と思い返すとどの旅も私の一部だな、と。感慨深いです。

When I heard of "Place that changed my perspective", I instantly thought of the trip which I visited places in India for 3 months. Then thought, "Is it really so?". My first destination outside of Japan was Maui where I felt "America" that I understood from TV - I was shocked about taking a bath with limited amount of water without shower when I stayed at an old British house in 80's - got glimpses of everyday life while I was having extended stays in Paris and New York - kept on getting stimulated while I was moving from a country to another especially in Europe and South America during my around the world trip... when I think about it, every trip is part of me.
