Tidal pools are water left behind when the ocean recedes at low tide. These photos can be located on the Doom Bar sand bank at the mouth of the Camel estuary (England). The Doom Bar is composed mainly of marine sand that is continually being carried up from the seabed by waves and tidal processes.
