Photo by @deeptiasthana / Spiti, the land between India and Tibet, is fringed by the Himalaya. The unexplored monasteries have been unchanged here for centuries. I met maroon-robed lamas and was awestruck by the region's stupendous beauty. The "land of lamas" has stories of struggles, dreams, and age-old practices that haven’t been changed due to limited accessibility to the region.
