"While exploring the Monadnock Region of @visitnh I stumbled upon some ruins from a real life fairytale deep in the forest 🏰🍂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This place tooooootally reminds me of a scene from a The Lord of the Rings but it’s actually the ruins of a castle... That a lady used to host massive parties in... 🎊 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Madame Sherri built a castle in the middle of the forest in New Hampshire where she would host fabulous parties. Eventually she ran out of money and left her castle abandoned in the woods. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The castle ended up burning down and only left behind this enchanting staircase that seemingly ends midair. I visited it on a foggy morning and it was giving me some mad Halloween vibes to get me in the mood for spooky season 🎃 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some even say that they have spotted Madame Sherri’s ghost walking amongst the ruins... 👻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ BUUUT, when I was there it definitely wasn’t thaaat spooky and I got way more of a fantasy feeling and couldn’t help but imagine elves and other woodland creatures running about 🧝🏽‍♀️🦔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After we visited the castle we went on a hike through the forest and experienced tonnes of stunning fall foliage 🍂" 🇺🇸 #discovernewhampshire with @braybraywoowoo #castle #hiddengems #woods」10月17日 19時00分
