Rural Alentejo, dotted with whitewashed villages and megalithic sites, is a vast land that runs from the “other side of the River Tejo” (giving the name of Alentejo) to the Spanish border. It is a land of large estates, with large extensions of vineyards, olive groves, and cork woods, where it is normal to have the pleasant feeling of being lost in time and space.
