Sadly, designer Kenzo Takada passed away yesterday. Kenzo and I were friends and in fact I was one of his early clients in 1971 buying a small amount of his work for my first tiny shop in my hometown of Nottingham. I was also lucky enough to attend several of his fashion shows including the one pictured here. Rest in peace Kenzo.
