Photo by Prasenjeet Yadav @prasen.yadav / Have you ever had a full-grown golden eagle sharing a ride in your car? I was heading to an expedition funded by @insidenatgeo with researchers from @snowleopardtrust in Kyrgyzstan a few years ago, and our Kyrgyz collaborator stopped our vehicle because he saw his friend driving toward us. When we got out, our collaborator asked me if I wanted to see a golden eagle. I started looking up, scanning the sky, while the rest of the team was getting a closer look at this beautiful bird in the trunk of this tiny car. The man who had this bird was a professional eagle trainer and a falconer and was headed back to his city after a day of training. Seeing this humongous bird this close in a car was an interesting experience. What's the most bizarre thing you have seen in a car?
