All I can say is that working with this group made me a stronger person, and made me love and accept myself a little more. And what more can you ask for from a professional experience, really? I love every one of these men, all for different reasons, and it was a true pleasure watching their incredible work on stage and film. Mart Crowley wrote this play about 9 (well-8? I’ll let you decide) unique and distinct gay men (in 1968 no less), and we owe so much to him and the original cast for their courage in bringing this to stage and screen in 1968 and 1970. We wouldn’t be able to do it with this cast today if it weren’t for them.
