Let’s talk Training! Or lack of it in my case. I’ve trained twice in the last 3 weeks. The longest I’ve ever gone without exercising and man i’m mentally aware of it! We packed up all the gym stuff before our move and today is the first time we’ve been able to see the equipment from moving all our boxes 🤦🏼‍♀️ During waiting to move I started work on Steph’s packed lunch which I absolutely love, as well as the radio and something else which I can tell you about soon but it’s safe to say it’s been hectic and I haven’t prioritised my training.
We’re having a gym built at our new place so it’ll be a good few months until that’s all done but I’m going to start getting back to training this week with the stuff we have. Its crazy how in just 3 weeks I feel like my energy has dipped, sleeps got a tad iffy (which is expected in a new house) my skins not great and I’ve just felt a bit blurgh 😖
All because I’ve not been exercising. Through not moving my body and not giving myself that “me” time to recoup. We’re all guilty at times at putting ourselves behind everything and everyone else. It happens, and recently it’s what I’ve had to do in order to get everything done. I’ve realised even more now how much taking care of myself physically, keeps me in check mentally. How when I look after my body even with just 20 mins a day of exercise, everything else runs more smoothly. Doing something always beats doing nothing. My usual routine resumes tomorrow and I’ll be back doing what I love early doors 💪🏼
Ps. This pic was taken the last night in our old house. I had a pizza in bed and watched Netflix. It was wonderful! 😊
