In the @chinatownpretty book, seniors share their wisdom with us -- whether it’s about their fashion philosophy, how to raise kids, or ways to live a healthy and active life.

(1) You Tian Wu in his iconic red suit and handmade bolo tie told us: “When you’re young you don’t have to care about fashion. But when you’re old, you have to.”

(2-4) Run Jin Ou Yang, who has Alzheimer’s, said she was a perfectionist when she was younger. Nowadays she’s content just knowing her kids and grandkids being okay: “Now I’m carefree,” she said. “If I remember, remember. If I don’t, I don’t.”
