多くの人がレコードというメディアに愛着を持つように、僕はCDというメディアに奇妙な愛着がある。過渡期的で不完全であること、傷つきやすい盤やパッケージ、カッコよくデザインするのが難しいことなど。レーベルを始めたのが2000年代の初頭だったのも大きいだろう。
ただ、一番奇妙なのは現在配信されているMP3に比べたら全然音が良いということで、良い音で聴きたいならCDを買うのがいいというのが2020年の今になっても続いていることだ。
音楽を巡る状況の不完全さはCDに勝る。

I have an odd attachment to the CD medium, just as many people have an attachment to the record medium.
Transitional and incomplete, fragile discs and packaging, difficult to design in a cool way, etc.
The fact that the label was started in the early 2000s was also a big reason.
But the strangest thing about it is that it sounds no better than the MP3s currently being distributed, and it's still in 2020 that if you want to listen to a good sound, you should buy a CD.
The imperfection of the situation around music trumps the CD.
