Legendary Japanese Olympian Sayuri Osuga agreed to work with me and pose on her bicycle in the midst of “The Scramble,” the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world, otherwise known as Shibuya. Shooting this while sitting in the gutter but still in the road w the crew standing over me so no vehicle runs over my legs. Flash mix at slow shutter! ISO 64 1/10th at f13 70-200mm lens. Flash will keep her sharp while the world spins. You have to run and set her up in the midst of The Scramble and then you’ve got about 30 seconds to shoot. Lots of the time I couldn’t even see her there are so many people in that crossing.
