After living in Paris post-graduation from Parsons School of Design in New York, our #wcw Claire McCardell returned to the U.S. to design functional, affordable clothes for women.
This bathing suit in McCardell’s signature plaid shows her disciplined use of fabric. The streamlined shape and simplicity of design lend themselves to a sporty sensibility, while the side lacing adds a provocative touch.
