You don’t have to fit into the box of all the things people tell you to be. ⁣ ⁣ Containing ourselves to labels and boxes we never fit into in the first place comes naturally to us because we’ve done it our entire lives. Since we were born we’ve been told to sit down, be quiet, behave, be appropriate, smile, fit in, be polite. This conditioning is hard to get rid of so it’s IMPERATIVE that you rebel at least a little bit every day. Color outside the lines. Do what you feel instead of what you were told. Tune into that place deep within that knows your value doesn’t lie in your ability to fit in but in how you naturally stand out by being just the way you are. ⁣ ⁣ So. Be strong and soft. Wild and put together. Empowered and vulnerable. Professional and playful. ⁣ ⁣ Be whatever the hell you want. ⁣ ⁣ If this year has taught me anything it’s that stretching ourselves thin for the sake of pleasing other people does the world, and our souls, a huge disservice.
