Training a fox Mondays with Melissa!

Viktor in his scent work training. Training days end up leaving my face hurting from laughing so hard at how creative each of these guys are during their training sessions. Today, Viktor found his scent canister with some serious sass and cuteness overload!

We actually placed some of canisters in slightly harder spots to challenge them a bit more. Viktor and Maksa didn’t seem to have much difficulty finding them even with the fan on and The big scary wolf pacing on the other side of the slider. They were focused to their job!
.
Training them in scent work provides enrichment for them and they truly enjoy their training sessions!

We are in the process of building a training room at the center, so we can continue these training sessions there and we can actually offer training sessions for the public - Train a fox Encounter!! Would you be interested in something like that?
