Hang clothes to dry, close blinds, turn off lights, unplug things you aren’t using. 💦 Put out shallow dishes of clean water in the shade for wild animals, birds, squirrels, etc. They are suffering. 🐶ONLY walk your dogs super early and after the sun goes down. They get heat stroke very easily and the ground becomes a frying pan. They will burn their paws and not know how to tell you. Do NOT hike with them for ANY reason. Speak up if you see someone doing any of those things. Some people don’t think about it and need to be told. ☀️If you see a dog or know of animals being left out in this heat contact a local animal rescue and your animal control officers. This is NOT ok!! 💧Stay hydrated, but ditch plastic bottles. Make sure you are prepared and carry a reusable water bottle with you. Don’t have the cash for a fancy reusable? Jars work great too!
