Here’s a little video capturing what I love about my visit to the Hamptons many summers ago ...the clear blue skies on a summers day, ocean breeze, white sand beaches that stretch for miles, the beautiful cottages, blue hydrangeas that are so vibrant and lush. The shops are beautiful and the towns so quaint but I admit that the vegetable, fruit, and floral stands captured my heart. Everything is so colorful, fresh, and locally grown. It truly was a beautiful experience. ✨ . Special thanks to the following accounts for the inspiration. A quick visit but ever lasting memories! . . The bike in this video is inspired by @thebridgehamptonflorist : I stopped by this floral shop, bought a vase and ended up being my favorite! . . The home in this video is inspired by a post by the talented @katielydoninteriors : I fell in love quickly with the homes here! I’m not talking about the massive homes situated on acres of land...its the small, cute, quaint cottages you can see from the road. . . And last but not least is the amazing @amberwavesfarm / Amagansett Farmers Market. Their handle reminded me and took me back to the many farmer stands I saw and stopped by. . . What was fun with illustrating this post is that it made me think what I really like about this visit. We all have visited places we love but often it just ends up a memory...an experience and we move on to the next place we plan to visit. So creating this post allowed me to visually see again why I love this visit so much. It’s no longer “been there...done that...next” but, appreciating being there and doing all the things I did in that moment.
