Photo by @amritachandradas Children from the Kichwa community huddle together in a hammock outside their home in Yasuni National Park, Ecuadorian Amazon. They play with heliconia, also known as lobster claw flowers, freshly picked from the jungle for a naming ceremony of a baby girl. She was named after me, as the people of the Kichwa community had never heard of my name, Amrita, before. The entire experience was surreal and truly unforgettable.
