カーリー・クロスさんのインスタグラム写真 - (カーリー・クロスInstagram)「hii! @aarushimac here :) Today I’ll be taking over the most inspiring @karliekloss’s page!! I’m going to talk about the work I’ve pursued since my time with @kodewithklossy as both a scholar and Instructor Assistant, as well as how the incredible Kode With Klossy community has changed my life. Recently, I’ve been working on a few fundraising and design projects for social impact initiatives, specifically grounded in racial justice and the Black Lives Matter movement. A bit about me: I’m super passionate about social justice, design, media (TikTok is .. an obsession), and fashion! I’ve worked on social impact projects in the media and technology fields, through which I was lucky enough to encounter some incredible opportunities. @tmobile and @sxswedu funded one of my media projects, and I also got to accomplish my bucket list dream of speaking @sxsw and @sxswedu with some of my best friends. Recently, I’ve designed stickers and prints to sell to fundraise for @austinjusticecoalition, a racial justice group based in Austin, and created a guide to social media fundraising! The guide addresses performative versus impactful social media activism, contains IG story templates to fundraise for Black Lives Matter initiatives, and details other expansive ways to approach fundraising online. We all must educate ourselves and take action on systemic racism and social injustice. Some resources that I love include the New York Times’ “The 1619 Project”, Layla Saad’s “Me and White Supremacy” workbook, and James Baldwin’s “The Fire Next Time.” Supporting small businesses run by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color is also crucial! The commitment to unlearning, relearning, and taking action towards the injustice our country was built upon is a lifelong one, and one we all must make. None of the projects I’ve worked on, perspectives I have developed, or dreams I have would exist without the work and support of the Kode With Klossy community♥️ It’s incredible that we are all here together to learn, grow, and take action. It’s important to keep elevating impactful voices, learning continually, and supporting social justice groups now and for the rest of our lives.」8月6日 3時46分 - karliekloss
