When growing squash or zuchinni give them a lot of room to grow (at least a few feet of space). The leaves take up a lot of space! You can grow either veggie in a large planter or in the ground. It is common (for me at least) to get some baby zuchinni or squash that will turn rotten. When this happens I cut them off & compost. Also one of my favorite parts of gardening is you can save the seeds from the zuchinni or squash, dry them out (I normally leave them on the counter to dry but I’ve heard putting them in the fridge helps so I’m going to try this) & replant! I love trying to regrow my own food. Sometimes I don’t have any luck but when it works I get so excited.
