I don’t know what I’d been dreaming about but I woke up feeling so loved and happy and peaceful; then I realised I was awake and my duvet wasn’t actually a person and I laughed! I know a lot of girls want to wake up in the arms of their loved one, to feel safe and protected, to get “good morning beautiful” texts and kisses on the forehead before bed. They want somebody to share silly moments with, laugh over memes and shower them with compliments. But the same guy has to be capable of being open, honest and always truthful - not to lie, cheat or chase other girls and that’s where the problem begins because what attracts you to your love also attracts others to them - girls can be just as flirtatious and devious as guys. Gradually security and happiness gives way to insecurity, a lack of trust and arguments and that’s why relationships end - the more you love somebody the easier and more real it is to push them away and lose them forever because the fear of being hurt actually makes you hurt. But we have to recognise that not everybody you lose is a loss, you have to kiss a few frogs before you finally marry your prince and all of the hurt, bad times and heartbreak teach you what not to accept in future. So when somebody deserving of your heart comes along you will be fully ready and able to respect and appreciate them for the blessing that they are.
