GINZA SIX 2Fの三原通り側に位置し、憩いの空間が広がるその名も「三原テラス」では、外壁上部のガラスが見る角度により様々な色合いに変化。さらに日の入り近くになると、ライトアップされてカラフルに輝くのをご存じでしょうか？ これはGINZA SIXの建築における基本設計と外観のデザインを手がけ、「東京国立博物館法隆寺宝物館」「ニューヨーク近代美術館」「京都国立博物館平成知新館」などの代表作でも知られる世界的建築家の谷口吉生さんによるアイディア。その密かな遊び心を感じる幻想的な空間を、夏の夜風と共にお楽しみください。

Mihara Terrace is an oasis of calm in the middle of Ginza’s commercial district, located on 2F of GINZA SIX along Mihara-dori Avenue. The iridescent glass blocks that overlook the terrace appear to change color depending on the angle. Just before sunset. The idea for this little light show came from world-famous architect Yoshio Taniguchi, who is known for the Gallery of Horyuji Treasures at the Tokyo National Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Heisei Chishinkan Wing at Kyoto National Museum—in addition to the basic design and the exterior design for GINZA SIX.
