📓하늘의 구름, 바다의 파도, 목이 긴 기린, 밤이 내려오는 하늘을 보며 가끔 그 현상 형태에 넋을 잃고 한참을 바라볼 때가 있다. 언젠가 배웠던, 과학으로 설명되고 이론으로 중무장한 관점은 사실 내게 그다지 중요하지 않다.
명쾌한 해답과 친절한 해설보다는 꽤나 익숙해서 눈여겨보지 않았던 그 색감과 향기가 호기심과 상상으로 바뀌는 그 찰나에 나는 경이로움을 선물 받는다. 누군가는 상식이라 말할 수 있는 모든 걸 나는 알 필요도 알고 싶지도 않다. 📓 Clouds in the sky, tides in the ocean, giraffes with long necks, and the darkening sky... there are times when I find myself mindlessly staring into them, simply awed by their forms and their phenomena.

To be honest, the perspective I must have learned at one point, armored with endless scientific theories and jargons, isn’t that important to me. In fact, I feel blessed by that moment in which those colors and smells I once regarded familiar turn into unusual curiosity and imagination. To some, it may be nothing more than common knowledge, but I don’t feel the need or the want to learn it.
