Utilizing never-before-seen techniques, Pochet & du Courval used a cylindrical, domed design embellished with a festoon pattern inspired by the Vendôme column - a subtle homage to Napoleon I’s military victories. Bees, a traditional symbol of the French Empire, feature around the rim and, in what was a true technical feat for the time, the bottles were semi-manufactured.
