一部報道にあった通り、新型コロナウイルスに感染した影響でチームへの合流が遅れていました。
本日、ようやくキャンプ参加の許可がおり、土曜日の練習から参加できることになりました。
ご心配の声も多くいただきましたが、陽性反応が出た際も、症状自体は軽く、身体は至って元気です。
MLBの開幕も間近に迫っていますが、早くチームの力になれるよう調整して、ベストなパフォーマンスを出せる状態で戻りたいと思います。
今シーズンも応援よろしくお願いします。

As reported by the media, I tested positive for the novel coronavirus and have not been able to join up with the Mariners in the summer camp. Today, I’ve been cleared to join the camp, so I will start working out with my teammates this Saturday.

After the news came out, I received a lot of concerns, but the symptom itself was mild, and I’m fully recovered now.

Although the opening day is just a week away, I will take necessary steps to get back in shape as quickly as possible so that I can bring out the best performance on the field and help the team win.

I’m looking forward to having a great year with the team and the fans.
