この度、２０２５年にかわせの地元である、関西で開催される大阪・関西万博において、プロデューサーを務めさせていただくことになりました。

一人ひとりが互いの多様性を認め、「いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン」を実現するため、８つのテーマ事業が設定され、かわせは「いのちを守る」のテーマで一つのパビリオンを創る役割をいただきました。
いのちを護るということは、自らのそれをプロテクトする、というだけでなく、循環の中で自らの生命を活かしてゆくという営みの中でなされます。
それは人間のみならず、自然界の生きとし生けるもの同士がリスペクトし合う世界の上に皆が豊かな心を持ち続ける世の到来を意味します。

そのような観点から
危機に瀕し、人類は「分断」を経験する。「私」の中の「あなた」を認める旅（いとなみ）の行方に、多様ないのちが、それぞれに、護られてゆく未来を描く。
と、コンセプトをまとめました。

１９７０年の大阪万博で、丹下健三さんや岡本太郎さんたちが残されたレガシーに学び、その先にゆくものを届けるために、多くの仲間と共に取り組みたいと思います。

また、プロデューサーと同時発表となりましたが、
安藤忠雄さんたちと共に、シニアアドバイザーとしても参画させていただくこととなりました。

何よりも、大阪、関西から世界へ“おもろいもん”を届けたいと思っています。

In 2025, I will work as a producer of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, here in my home region of Kansai.

In order to recognize the individual diversity in one another, and make “designing a society of the future shining with life” a reality, eight different themes have been established, and I will be in charge of creating the pavilion for “Protecting Life”.

Protecting life is not just protecting one’s own, but also in the work of making the most of your life in your environment.

That means the arrival of a world where, not just humans, but all living things can respect one another, one where we can all continue to live with warmth in our hearts.

From that kind of perspective,

on the verge of danger, mankind experiences “division”. On the road to recognizing the “you” that is in “me”, we can paint a future where the diversity of life will be protected by each individual.
That is the concept that I have brought together.
Learning from the legacies left by Kenzo Tange and Taro Okamoto at the 1970 Osaka Expo, I want to work together with many close friends to deliver something that lives on.

In addition to being named a producer, it was also announced that I would be a senior advisor, along with Tadao Ando and others.

More than anything, I want to send “interesting stuff” out to the rest of the world from Osaka and Kansai.

Looking ahead to 2025.
