Photos by Kris Graves @themaniwasnt This is from my project Discovered Missing, images from my travels on or near the Ring Road (Route 1) in Iceland. Iceland is isolated, removed, independent. Alone in a cold sea, sparsely populated, its volcanic visage is harsh and unrelenting. Incredible landscapes are hidden in plain view in Iceland, accessible to those who make an effort with blind faith, who continue driving through blizzards to see a frozen waterfall before it changes with the next eruption from the earth.
