"The house is authentic to who we are—happy and laid-back," says the homeowner of a property she and her husband purchased in New Jersey. Ellie Cullman of @cullmankravis and architect @jamesparaganoarchitect were recruited to create the couple's dream space, and a dream space it became. Here in the library, the sofa, in a Gretchen Bellinger silk velvet, and armchairs, in a @sabinafaybraxton velvet, are all custom. The 19th-century gilt-bronze chandelier is French, the walls are paneled in anigre wood, and the curtains are of a hand-painted fabric by @pinturastudio. A French chair pulls up to a circa-1780 Italian desk, the artwork over the Louis XVI mantel is by George Inness, the 19th-century terracotta statue is French, and the Meiji-period vase is Japanese.
