When a family wanted to expand the main house of their Montecito property, they commissioned designer @kimalexandriuk to carry out the renovation. "The main goal was that they wanted it to look natural and seamless and be of the exact same quality level as the rest of the building. The one thing about the former owners is that they did not skimp on the details," says Alexandriuk. "Everything on that house was just top-of-the-line and beautifully done. They wanted it done exactly the same way, so they hired the same contractor, Kevin Archer, to do the addition and all the changes." In the barn living room, the custom sofa, in a green Claremont velvet, is by Alexandriuk, the cocktail table is by @jeanlouisdeniot from @jeandemerry, the side table (left) is by Mike Diaz from @blackmancruz, the rug is by @christopherfarrdesign, the yellow painting is by Marco Lorenzetto, and the abstract work is from @ jfchenantiques.
