Had the MOST magical stay at @portlympnepark - didn’t want to leave it was incredible! ‘The Lions Lodge’ was one of the most unique, special places I’ve ever stayed in... and I couldn’t recommend it more! The best place to create memories - Defiantly one for the bucket list!🦁

In recent years The Aspinall Foundation has released 8 black rhino, 12 grizzled langurs, 90 ebony langurs, 33 Javan gibbons, 11 European bison and over 70 western lowland gorillas back to their native homelands.

They also protect 1,000,000 acres of gorilla habitat on the Bateke Plateau, operate a gorilla orphanage in Congo, run a project in Madagascar protecting lemurs and manage two primate rehabilitation centres in Java. In addition, The Aspinall Foundation rescued an entire herd of elephants from an abandoned reserve in South Africa and have just become the first organisation in the world to send cheetahs born in the UK back to their ancestral home of South Africa for rewilding.
