#Pride’s message goes beyond LGBTQ, says @ステラ・マックスウェル, who feels the phrase doesn’t encompass the breadth of queer identity. The more inclusive LGBTQIA is her preferred acronym. “Let’s be clear on what that means: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and allied. I find that far more encompassing,” she explains. “I have heard people say that’s ridiculous, so many letters and descriptions. But I can say that is certainly not ridiculous if you identify with one of those letters.”
